Welcome to Henry's Island-a Lakeside Retreat on Mousam Lake.
Nestled on the Water’s Edge is a charming Lakeside Retreat boasting sweeping lake views. This camp is a place to kick back, relax and leave your worries behind. The views from the front screened in porch and picnic area are what many guests come here for, especially to see those stunning sunrises. After a day of swimming, canoeing and relaxing in the hammock, end the day star gazing and roasting marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit. Guaranteed to be the rustic and relaxing stay you're looking for.
The cottage interior is charming and timeless. Your accommodations include 2 bedrooms with full-sized beds, 1 full-sized pull out sofa in the living area. With TV, wireless internet, and a small kitchen, dining area and a full bathroom. The kitchen (though very small and not much counter space) has a full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker and stove. Pots and pans and always supplied with cooking utensils. There is also a propane grill available, and a newly installed dock to enjoy.
Less than 2 hours from Boston, MA and 45 minutes from Portland ME. Fantastic location on Lower Mousam not far from the Mousam Bridge and Acton Trading Post. Easy drive to coastal beaches, shopping, antiques, hiking, endless opportunities to explore our beautiful State of Maine.

There is a pull out couch (full size) in the living area which can accommodate the 5th and 6th guest.
Large antique stove in kitchen is not operable
Fireplace in living room is not to be used.
Please - No Fireworks allowed!
Guests are expected to be respectful of the home inside, outside and especially of our neighbors!
No Smoking or Vaping.
Must have a responsible adult at least 25 years old at property at all times.
Mutliple Kayaks and a Canoe are available. As well as other floatation devices.
There is a maximum of 6 day and night guests at this property.
No laundry available
Given this is a lakeside property, guests should be mindful of water usage and not put extra stress on the septic system. Please do your best to conserve water.
