Description
Goose Pond Getaway is nestled in the peaceful, quiet cove on Goose Pond. Better suited for older children as there isn't a beach for little ones to play. Water gets deep after the end of the dock.
Bring or rent * a kayak, canoe, paddle board and enjoy a nice paddle around the pond. Launch your smaller boat at Lower Mousam Lake and travel between Mousam Lake and Goose Pond. There is also an association launch nearby the cottage. Bass fishing is great!
Cottage sleeps five. First Bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has a bunk bed - full size on bottom twin on top. Both bedrooms overlooking the water. Watch the Sunrise from Bed or your dock.
Inside: Kitchen with appliances. All cookware, dishes & utensils you need to prepare and serve meals. Please bring bottled water for drinking and cooking.
Full bath is on the second floor.
Electric baseboard heat to take the chill out.
First floor all wood floors. Second floor all carpet.
Outside: Dock w/table, two chairs and umbrella, gas grill w/utensils, fire pit, picnic table and outside chairs.
Two Pets allowed - Requires a $150 Pet Fee.

Goose Pond Getaway RENTAL RULES
1. Smoking is NOT allowed in the cottage. (Smoking is allowed outside only - please use receptacles provided for that purpose.)
2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
3. Owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the Property or its facilities. The Owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Tenant or Tenant’s Guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all Guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
5. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
6. Pets are allowed with pet fee. Please clean up after them accordingly.
7. Parking. No vehicles shall be parked within the Right of Way located on the Property.
8. Water and Septic: The property is on a well and holding tank system. Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and they will be washed after you check out. The system will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is determined that feminine products have been flushed and clog the waste holding system, you may be charged for damages and the cost to repair the system.
9. NO FIREWORKS ARE ALLOWED ON PROPERTY
This is a Pet Friendly Cottage
The purpose of this pet policy is written to mitigate potential misunderstandings with guests and set expectations for their stay.
Number of Animals — Observe limit on the number of pets allowed at the property.
Type of Animal — Observe type of pets allowed.
Housebroken — We require that the animals be housebroken. This helps avoid indoor accidents in a new, unfamiliar environment, and will save you the hassle and money of having to clean up a mess.
Furniture — Pets are NOT allowed on the furniture. Though this is a difficult policy to enforce, we recommend that guests bring a bed or pillow for their pet’s comfort if necessary.
Waste Cleanup — This is a must! Guests are required to remove their pets’ waste in the yard and surrounding areas. Please dispose of dutifully.
Leash Policy — Maine has a Leash Law! Fees for violations will be passed on to guests!
Flea/Tick Policy — Pets are required to be on tick and flea prevention when they come to the property. We take these measures to ensure that the properties stay pest-free. If your pet is not treated for fleas and ticks please leave them home for the health and safety of other guests and their pets.

The Goose Pond Getaway was a perfect unplugged vacay for our family. Our kids (9,6,5 yrs) had a blast jumping off the dock and kayaking in the Pond. It is so calm they were very safe in their life jackets a decent distance out from the dock. The cottage is super clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Even on a rainy day we had games and puzzles to keep us busy. We rented a kayak from Michauds Marine based on Patricias recommendation and the entire experience was simple, fast, and so easy. They pick up and drop off and take Venmo.

I love the dock and the new added patio.
So much fishing in our week stay - we caught 200 fish between the whole family. However 170 of those fish would be bluegil. Lots of swimming with the kids. Walking the dog around the area.
