Sleeping Arrangement
Description
The Allen Camp is a true rustic Maine camp situated on a peninsula on beautiful Square Pond. With this cabin sitting on a peninsula, there is a dock on the east AND west side of the property and a nice sandy beach on the west side of the property where you can enjoy gradual into the water swimming and gorgeous sunsets! Launch your boat at Square Pond Boat Launch (large boats won't fit under the bridge at the culvert)
This is a rustic two bedroom cabin with open studded walls. The ¾ bath has been renovated. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 has two twin beds. Please bring your own sheets, bath and kitchen & beach towels.
You enter the camp thru the screened porch on the side. Walk into the open kitchen, dining area and living area. Bedrooms are to the right. The ¾ bath is situated between the kitchen and bedroom. Use the screen porch for morning coffee, reading or playing board games. Kitchen comes complete with all you need to prepare meals. Other conveniences: Microwave oven, Coffee Maker, Toaster.
There are two floor stand fans you may move around where needed, one oscillating fan mounted to the wall in the queen bedroom, and one oscillating fan in the twin bedroom on the shelf. The living room also has a ceiling fan.
Go outdoors and find ample level outdoor space for yard games and a fire pit for campfires and s’mores. There is a gas grill, picnic table and outdoor chairs.
The cottage has sufficient parking with two spaces having covered parking.
Although there is a well, you should bring bottled water for drinking and cooking. Water pressure is good for showering and dishes.
Guests must be very respectful of water usage. This cottage has a waste water holding tank which must be pumped. Without respect, there could be problems.
It can get windy during the day and there is no heat in this camp so please bring sweatshirts.
Come to this cottage one time and you will want to return every year!

Guests are expected to be respectful of the home inside, outside and especially of our neighbors!
No Smoking or Vaping.
Must have a responsible adult at least 25 years old at property at all times.
You should bring wood if you want a campfire. Once you’re in Maine, you will find wood being sold roadside as your drive up or at the grocery stores or the general store Boonies which is a short drive from the property.
Please bring your own sheets, bath and kitchen & beach towels.
Sorry No Pets. - Owner has allergies.
